In addition to his teaching career, Gary has worked as an analyst and technical writer for Lockheed Martin and Intel. According to Gary, “In college I developed an interest in learning and mathematics so there is no better place than teaching computer science and math in high school to satisfy these interests. High school students are at a stage in their lives that is quite lovely. I did use the word lovely and that could change when my 8 and 4 year old boys become teenagers. Teenagers still possess many characteristics and qualities of being children but also possess a wealth of experiences and knowledge that make them more interesting to teach and learn from. Teaching also helps make me a better person and Father.”
